The Game/Rules

Intramural soccer is open to students, faculty, and staff. Students who are a member of the Varsity/JV men's or women's soccer teams are not eligible for participation.

Soccer is coed six on six with a required minimum of three females on the field at all times...more is fine. The make-up of the six player team could be four females and two males. Games can be played with five players as long as three of the players are females. Less than five players and/or the improper ratio equates to a forfeit. There is no goalie and no offsides. The fields are not identical width, but both are 60 yds long. There are no throw-ins. Place the ball in play for a free kick...all players must provide 10 yards of spacing for this kick.

There are two 25 minute 1/2's with a five minute rest in between.

Games are not officiated. There will be an on-sight supervisor only.
