eBook Collection is a collection of full-text electronic books
(ebooks) accessible through the web. These ebooks are available
to Kalamazoo College on a check-out basis. There are three
categories of Books: free ebooks (3,800 older titles in the
public domain), academic ebooks (6,400 more recent titles),
and 8,000 nonfiction, general interest titles. Free ebooks
(public domain books) may be viewed at any time from any computer
on or off campus. All other ebooks require users to log in
and "check out" the ebooks from any campus computer.
Users may preview ebooks for fifteen minutes without logging on.
