2011 Kalamazoo College Home Football Game Day Information

Due to the complete renovation/construction of Kalamazoo College's athletic fields, the Hornet football team will be playing off-site for the 2011 season.

Western Michigan University's Waldo Stadium on Stadium Drive between Oliver St. and Oakland Dr.

Parking
Free parking is available in WMU Lots 10 & 11. Overflow parking is available in Lot 95. These three lots are accessible from Oliver St. off Stadium Drive and Oliver Ln. off Oakland Dr.
Handicap accessible parking is available in Lot 4 off Oakland Drive (This is the only lot with a walkway to the stands. Parking in any other lot requires the use of stairs).
Large groups requesting designated parking areas should contact Rob Passage at rpassage@kzoo.edu.
Visiting team bus parking is available in Lot 7 just east of Waldo Stadium in front of the Seelye Center.

In order to maximize parking availability for all fans please use parking spaces for vehicles only, keeping tents and other tailgating equipment off to the side.

Tailgating
Tailgating is allowed in each of WMU's parking lots. No glass bottles are allowed nor are alcohol containers larger than one (1) gallon in size. No alcohol is allowed inside the stadium.

Entrance/Gates
A single entrance gate will be open on the southeast corner of the stadioum (to the east of the main press box). This gate is accessible from stairs leading down from Parking Lot 10.
Fans walking from Kalamazoo College's campus should walk up Oakland Drive and turn right at Lot 4 and follow the walkway behind the Seelye Center to the open gate.

Gates are scheduled to open two hours prior to game time. This time may vary on Sept. 17 depending on the length of the WMU game.

Seating
All seating is general admission. Seating is only available on the south side (press box side) of the stadium. Sections will be marked designating seating areas for each team.

$5 adults
$3 over 60/under 18
Children under age 5 are free
All tickets are general admission and are available at the gate. Tickets are not available prior to the game.
Tickets go on sale when the gates open two hours prior to game time.
Per MIAA policy, there is no visiting team pass list for contests between MIAA teams.
All MIAA students, faculty and staff receive one free ticket with college ID.

Restrooms
Restrooms are available at the top of the seating area on the southeast side of the field (underneath the press box).

Concessions
Concessions will be open at the top of the seating area on the southeast side of the field (press box side) of the stadium only.

Outside Food/Beverages
Outside food is allowed inside the stadium. Bottled water is the only outside beverage allowed in the stadium. No alcohol is permitted inside the stadium.

From I-94
At exit #74, turn north onto US-131, go 2.7 miles; use the following directions for exiting from US-131.

From US-131
To Lots 10, 11, 95
At exit #36, turn east onto Stadium Drive, go approximately 2.5 miles; turn right on Oliver St. at the stoplight.Follow Oliver St. to Oliver Ln and turn left. Lot 10 will be on your immediate left. Lot 11 will be ahead and to your left. Lot 95 (overflow parking) is on Oliver St. just west of Lots 10 and 11.

From US-131
To Lot 4 (Handicap accesible)
At exit #36, turn east onto Stadium Drive, go approximately 2.5 miles and drive past Waldo Stadium and the WMU Maintenance Building. Veer to the right and take Oakland Drive south. Lot 4 will be on your left.

From US-131
To Lot 7 - Seelye Center (Visiting Team Bus Parking Only)
At exit #36, turn east onto Stadium Drive, go approximately 2.5 miles. Drive past Waldo Stadium and turn right into Lot 7 immediately past the stadium.

From Campus/Downtown Area to all Lots
To Lot 4 (Handicap accessible) - Take Oakland Drive south from Stadium Drive. Lot 4 will be on your left.
To Lots 10, 11, 95 - Take Oakland Drive south from Stadium Drive. Turn right on Oliver Ln. Lot 11 will be immediately to your right. Lot 10 will be ahead and to your right. Lot 95 (overflow parking) is ahead and to the left at Oliver St.
