Golf Headlines Women's Golf Season Preview
The Hornets are looking for some answers as they approach the 2010 fall season. While the young Hornet squad did not lose anyone to graduation, they will have four key players going on study abroad, which also happens to be the top four players from last years squad. All four are Juniors, Ashley Amoldi, Meghan Turner, Taylor Sruba and Allison LaRose. As a result, Coach Marks will be looking to his young squad to step up and challenge themselves.
Players expected to compete and contribute for the Hornets are junior Ellen Hallgren, sophomore Caroline Michniak and two freshman, Charlotte Steele and Genna Greenberger.
The Hornets will enter the 2010 season with one junior and five underclassmen, which, in itself, will be a challenge. If this young squad can challenge themselves and each other, they will have a great opportunity to compete in conference play and they could surprise some teams. (Story courtesly Sharri Brumfield)
